Good News Proclaimed

Gathering of Leaders’ Participants are currently engaging in conversation around our annual theme of “The Missionary Church After Christendom,” and as I read through the e-news below I see the Good News that these conversations are proclaiming.

Last month at the Oregon Gathering we were challenged by many peer-presentations, and highlighted below are two projects we just had to share: Alex Leach shares faithful ministry at Burning Man and Kelly Demo gifts us a story about engaging all generations in social justice through Christ’s love.

You will also see a map showing where our Lay Leader pilot Participants live out their ministry in this changing landscaping. Connecting with leaders from across the US is a key facet to being in Gathering of Leaders. As we offer our varied experiences we all become stronger through our peer learning.

Life is messy and the future is challenging, but the Holy Spirit is alive and in our midst as we seek a future of hope-filled, Christ-centered, relationships and ministry.
